Getting started:
 The game board (except for BAFFLE!® Junior) consists of a 5 x 5 grid of squares.
The 25 game pieces include 5 shapes in 5 colors.
To move a piece, use your mouse to click on the piece you would like to move,
drag and drop on the square of your choice by releasing the button on the mouse.
You have four choices for every move during the game:
- Place a game piece on an empty square.
- Remove a game piece.
- Swap two pieces on the board – drag one and drop it on another.
- Swap an unplayed piece with one already on the board – drag the
unplayed piece and drop on the piece on the board.
There are 57,600 possible solutions for BAFFLE!® Classic alone to keep the game
interesting no matter how many times you play it, whatever your skill level.

You will find the games listed under "Mode" in the navigation bar at the top of
the game board.
BAFFLE!® Classic
In BAFFLE!® Classic, the game board is entirely blank to start. You win when
all 25 pieces are on the game board and every vertical column, horizontal row,
and corner-to-corner diagonal contain one piece of every shape and one piece of
every color.
The vertical columns, horizontal rows, and two corner-to-corner diagonals are shown by the colored lines in these diagrams:

BAFFLE!® Classic Levels
To challenge yourself and chart your increasing skill at the game, you can
select “Levels” from the top navigation bar in the game. Sixty games have been
selected to allow you to move from beginner to advanced levels sequentially.
Every time you solve one puzzle, you gain access to the next game in the
sequence. For example, your first game will have seven pieces already correctly
positioned on the board for the pre-selected “winning” configuration. To win the
game, correctly position the remaining pieces so each vertical column,
horizontal row, and the two corner-to-corner diagonals contain one game piece of
each color and shape.
If you begin playing Levels, you still have the opportunity to choose any other
BAFFLE!® game whenever you complete a game or reset the game (under "Game" on the
navigation bar). The software "remembers" what level you have achieved.
 BAFFLE!® Junior
This version of BAFFLE!® is played the same as BAFFLE!® Classic except the game
board is 4 x 4 with only four shapes and four colors.
To win, every vertical
column, horizontal row, and corner-to-corner diagonal will have one piece of each
color and shape.
BAFFLE!® Rainbow
To win, the game board will have all pieces of the same color in a vertical
column. Each horizontal row and corner-to-corner diagonal will have one of each
shape. Color is not a variable.
BAFFLE!® Shapes
To win, the game board will have one of each shape in every vertical column,
horizontal row, and corner-to-corner diagonal. Color is not a variable.
BAFFLE!® Colors
To win, the game board will have one of each color in every vertical column,
horizontal row, and corner-to-corner diagonal. Shape is not a variable.
BAFFLE!® Challenge
To win, the game board must be arranged with one piece of every shape in each
vertical column, horizontal row, and corner-to-corner diagonal. In addition, each
piece of the same color must touch the same color vertically or horizontally,
but cannot all appear in the same row or column.
BAFFLE!® Master
The mind-bender for advanced players!
To win, no vertical column, horizontal row,
or any diagonal line (including the major corner-to-corner and all other
diagonal lines) can contain more than one of the same shape or color.
